Room Reservations

Most spaces for the Fall 2026 semester will be available for reservation starting on September 14, 2026.

Welcome the the hub for Benjamin Franklin College Room Reservations! Most of our spaces are only available to Benjamin Franklin College (BFC) students. Make sure to read the guidelines and check on the calendars below to see if the room you would like to request is available. Requests will be answered during regular business hours Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.  Requests received over the weekend will be answered on the Monday following.

How It Works

  1. Submit a request:
    Complete the Room Reservation Form for your requested space with your name, NetID, requested space, date, and start and end times. Each space has its own form.
  2. Wait for confirmation:
    The Aides will review your request and email you once it has been approved or denied. Same-day requests may not be approved because of limited processing time.
  3. Access during business hours:
    For reservations during 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Monday–Friday, an Aide will swipe you into the space.
  4. After-hours reservations: 
    Reservations outside of business hours may require access to be added to your Yale ID. These requests must be submitted in advance to allow time for processing.
  5. Weekend reservations:
    Requests for reservations beginning after 5:00 p.m. Friday or during the weekend should be submitted by Thursday at NOON to allow time for after-hours access to be arranged.
  6. Access confirmation:
    When Yale ID access is required, you will receive an email confirming that access has been added for your approved reservation date, time, and location.

Important to Know

  • A reservation is not confirmed until you receive an approval email.
  • Please submit requests as early as possible, especially for evenings and weekends.
  • Access is limited to the approved space, date, and time listed in your reservation.
  • If your request cannot be approved, you will receive an email with the reason and may submit a new request for an alternate date or time.
  • Requests submitted on Friday after 1pm for that weekend will not be approved.
